Here are the famous poets and poems. Are you familiar of the poems of Shakespeare? As we all know, Shakespeare was a famous poet during his time and up to this time. Actually, the fame of Shakespeare doesn't depend alone on his fame upon the plays he'd written alone. He was also known as the narrative poet. The Venus and Adonis and the Lucrece are the two pieces of his narrative. Aside from the narratives and blank verses of his plays that he wrote are the many songs that he wrote that are to be included in plays, as well as the sequence of the sonnets that he has left to us. Some of these songs are still read as well as sung by many people. They are the lyrics of “Hark, Hark, the Lark,” “Who is Sylvia?” and the “Under the Greenwood Tree.”

Famous Poets And Poems

A person cannot be considered as a great poet without having the skill which is needed to shape the words into the form of poetry; however it is not yet enough for that person to be considered as a great one. He should be a thinker, should understand the human beings, and must be a philosopher. Some of the poets are teachers which impress the moral lessons upon the readers. They try to picture men and women so that it will help them to understand them as well as to extend the reader's sympathy to them. Shakespeare had all of these poet's skills and he also had this insight into motives, the thoughts and the ways of the humanity which made him the supreme interpreter in the lives that we live.
